Description

This is a nebulous poster made for print, but never quite made it to the presses. The original version was found in one of my old hard drives, and while I liked it at the time, that was just beyond a decade ago at the current time of writing, so I felt it was due an update. Without the project file, however, this would mean starting completely over from scratch.

The remake features two, main pieces; a swirling of blue-green and red-orange space dust formations, along with a torrential ink cloud, dispersed by water. The titular text is inverted by the ink, and the way it's posited on the canvas reminds me a bit of a playing card. The overall colors are really striking, so I chose a very readable, familiar font - "Helvetica".

The original takes a much more airbrushed style, and has a lot of very distant-looking stars compared to the remake. It also features a rather thin, round font called "Geo Sans Light" - a style I enjoyed so much, it was the main font for this very site during its first few years of existence.
